Purpose and Vision

Our Purpose

The Indigenous Leadership Network Victoria will promote leadership activities, strengthen leadership opportunities, build leadership capacity, support leaders and build on existing Indigenous leadership initiatives in the Indigenous community.

The ILNV is committed to recognising all forms of Indigenous leadership in Victoria and to providing skills, knowledge and opportunities for learning in a culturally safe environment. We recognise the value of building and maintaining relationships and fostering an open forum for communication, and we are committed to valuing the unique cultural nature of Indigenous Victoria and strengthening that identity.

The Network will not act as a peak organisational body, a representational body or a service provision organisation.

Our Logo was designed by Reanna Bono, graphic designer with Deadly Designs. The three closely linked figures represent community collectivity and the background is a distinctively Victorian traditional shield design.
