AAV

Aboriginal Affairs Victoria (AAV) is the Victorian Government's central point of advice on all aspects of Aboriginal affairs in Victoria. This policy advice may relate to services provided by other State Government agencies, Commonwealth departments, or to services delivered within the Aboriginal community. AAV is often the first point of call by members of the Aboriginal community and its organisations requiring information on a wide range of issues.

Brotherhood of St Laurence

The Brotherhood of St Laurence was established during the Great Depression by Fr Gerard Tucker, who wished to combine his Christian faith and his determination to end social injustice. The Brotherhood has developed into an independent organisation that delivers services, develops policy and supports social change to help achieve their vision of an Australia free of poverty.

ISRP

The Indigenous Sport and Recreation Program (ISRP) aims to create a sport and recreation sector that is inclusive of and accessible to Indigenous Victorians. To achieve this Sport and Recreation Victoria’s ISRP works with a range of organisations including Indigenous communities, sports groups, State Sporting Associations (SSAs) and national sports organisations. The ISRP provides direct service delivery including sports activities in partnership with SSAs, Traditional Indigenous Games, school programs and Cross Cultural Awareness.

Leadership Victoria

An independent nonprofit organisation, Leadership Victoria conducts a range of activities including the Williamson Community Leadership Program; SkillsBank; Board Orientation Series and ExperienceBank.  Developing and enhancing leaders across all sectors via community engagement and sustainable relationships LV has inspired similar programs across Australia and the Pacific.

VicHealth

The Victorian Health Promotion Foundation, best know as VicHealth, works in partnership with organisations, communities and individuals to make health a central part of Victorians’ daily lives. The focus of VicHealth’s work is on promoting good health and preventing ill-health.
